What to expect on your test day

Our Pearson VUE test centre is located at 67 Symonds Street on Level 11, Room J.

On arrival: 


Please arrive 30 minutes before your test to register. If you arrive more than 15 minutes than the scheduled starting time of your test, you will not be allowed to sit the test, and you will lose your fee.

If you arrive early, you are welcome to make use of the sofas in the 7th floor lobby. During weekdays, you are also welcome to wait in the student lounge, located on the 5th floor.
When you enter our test entre in Room J, one of our friendly test administrators will request copies of your ID, take your photograph, signature and scan your palm. 

You can also leave your belongings in an assigned and secure locker for the duration of your test. 
 

What can I bring into the test room?
•    Passport
What can't I bring into the test room?
•    Cell/mobile phones, hand-held computers/personal digital assistants (PDAs) or other electronic devices (must be switched off before storing in a locker)
•    Jewelry that is wider than 1cm
•    Watches, wallets and purses
•    Hats, bags and coats
•    Books and notes


During the test: 


After a debrief of rules and procedures, our test administrator will lead you to our test room and assign you a computer booth with built-in headphones. 
Your 2 hour and 15 minute test will commence where you will use the computer and headset to listen, read and respond to questions. 


Finishing the test:


Upon completion of your test, your test administrator will ensure the closure of your work station and escort you of the room. After a final ID checks and being issued a printed confirmation of your completion, you will be able to leave.
